We usually come here once a month or so. I've rented a room for my bachelorette party here. We get together with our MTG group here often too. The atmosphere is always incredible, and I love to see the place so busy so often, because it really feels like one of the few truly LGBTQ friendly spaces in Akron. Our waitress was very attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu, AND also knowledgeable of MTG. It was fun every once and a while seeing her react to my opponent creating 36 tokens by turn 4 🤣 I forgot her name, but she had the reddish hair with the side shaved. Lastly, the sandwich I LOVE this season is the Royal Catch. Its ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, and I couldnt recommend it more. THEY EVEN HAD GLUTEN FREE BREAD. With a seasonal rotating menu, they keep things exciting and I cant wait to see what they have next month. We love this place tons and can't recommend it enough. (My only one note is that sometimes the drinks with the stems of rosemary feel a little wasteful, I feel like id be happy with literally just a third of the stem they usually serve)

The Green Dragon in is absolutely gorgeous, has fantastic staff, and food to die for! Definitely recommend coming here if you love anything fantasy, love board games, and love great food. My entire group of four was more than satisfied! Pictured are the “Scale Murderer is Most Spoon Adjacent” and The Living Grove sandwich. We had also tried the Farmer’s Bounty flatbread, the Forest Spirit flatbread, and the Orchard’s Melt sandwich, all of which were incredible.

Really cool place. Has what looks like thousands of board games, amazing medieval vibe + sweet menu with a story. Amazing specialty drinks, and I got this great apple/arugula sandwich. Coolest vibe EVER in there!!! And servers were nice. Nothing bad to say!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Green Dragon Inn was an absolute EXPERIENCE, not just a meal. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was immersive, themed, and spotless. Even the restrooms were on-theme, super clean, and the women’s room was stocked with actual amenities which was such a thoughtful, classy touch. Our server, Alex, was truly amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food, drinks, and games, and had that perfect balance of being friendly and attentive without ever feeling forced or fake. She checked on us just the right amount and made the whole experience even better. The food was OUTSTANDING. Everything came out with perfect timing, beautifully done, and absolutely delicious. We were so impressed that we asked Alex to pass our compliments to the cook, and she told us he’s the kitchen manager… which makes total sense, because wow, he nailed it. You can tell there’s real care and skill coming out of that kitchen. Between the atmosphere, the service, the food, and the little details, this was an all-around incredible night. We’ll 100% be back. 🐉🍻🎲

The Green Dragon Inn in Akron, Ohio is a true five-star experience. I would come here every single day if I could. From the moment you step inside, everything—the interior, the menu, even the bathroom—feels cohesive, intentional, and incredibly well thought out. They have nearly 800 board games available to play for free while you’re there, which alone is impressive. What stood out even more was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One staff member even brought over different board and card games for us to try, which made the experience feel extra special and fun. We only stopped in for a quick snack before heading to the Akron Art Museum, but I really wish we’d had more time (and a bigger appetite) to stay longer. The pretzel sticks were wonderful—thin and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with plenty of cheese for all five sticks (there’s also an option for three). We also ordered drinks: both beers were excellent, and my matcha drink was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced. The menu itself deserves a mention. It changes seasonally, and they told us that no recipe is ever truly repeated. De
